Track & Field

Track and Field is our oldest sport and the one with the most competitions. Special Olympics in Stanislaus County offer all of the standard events associated with the sport plus many adapted competitions.
Athletes of all abilities can participate in events with other athletes of the same level for fair and fun competition.

Track and Field competitions are held at the local, regional and state levels with a two-day competition
held at UC Davis.

Stanislaus Special Olympics is part of a region that include teams from Stanislaus, Merced and Mariposa Counties. The regional games rotate between counties and each county hosts the regional games every third year.

All athletes must have a completed athlete application for participation on file prior to training.
